Bangor – Erwin D. McNally, 84, passed away peacefully, December 18, 2020, at his home. He was born May 2, 1936, in Stacyville. He was a United States Air Force veteran and had retired as a warehouseman for C&M Warehouse. Erwin was an outstanding guitarist and vocalist. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting, and was an enthusiastic Boston Red Sox fan.
Erwin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elaine; two daughters, Melanie McNally and Amy-Lou Wylie and her husband, Robert; brothers, Richard McNally and wife, Carol; sister-in-law, Phyllis Jackson and husband, Paul; sister-in-law, Irene Farewell; two grandchildren, Miranda and Ryan; and very special friend, Jeff Lovejoy.
A graveside funeral service will be announced in the spring. Burial will be in the family lot in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
