I’m so sorry to learn of Mr. McReavy’s passing. He was such and intelligent man, a deep thinker and fair. He taught me so much about management in my fledgling years at Mayo. May you hold all the happy memories in your hearts as you remember your husband and dad and I pray they give you peace.

Dear Mary, Kathy and Debbie,
I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a gentle man who touched the lives of many. He never made it easy to tell if he was joking with you because his facial expression seldom changed! We could all talk for hours about the number of times he and my mom sparred off on many subjects. May all of your memories help you through this very sad and difficult time.

I was saddened to read of the passing of one of my all time favorites. I truly enjoyed working for him and later in life I could pick that grin out of a crowd knowing that we would have a word before parting. I have fond memories of sharing the day with you folks when we traveled to Boston to see the Rockettes right about now. What a show! My thoughts are with you and the girls Mary.

Mr McReavy was such a kind and caring man. I remember him calling me into the office one day while working at Mayo. I was nervous but he wanted to know why I was not in the company 401K. To this day I thank him for that. I always called him Mr McReavy out of respect but after he retired I came to call him Mr Bob. He will always have a spot in my memories. Mary and girls you were so blessed to have him in your lives.

Bob was a fine man - fair, compassionate and always true to his word. One of my favorite memories of Bob was the day I took my youngest daughter, then age 5-6, out to the “driving range” at the Piscataquis Golf Club to try her hand at hitting some balls. It wasn’t long before Bob appeared with a bucket of balls that he had collected from errant drives off the 4th tee that had ended up on his back lawn. He presented these to my daughter and told her to keep practicing with these “new” balls so she could get better. I very much enjoyed Bob both at work and at play. My deepest condolences to the McReavy family.

Mr. McReavy was a special man. I can't begin to express how special his friendship was to me. Bob was a quiet man. His leadership was exceptional. I went to many Maine Hockey games with Bob. I remember that he had the same expression even when the Bears scored a goal. I remember his daughter teasing him about it. I will miss him. I will never forget him.

I am very sorry to hear that Mr. McReavy had passed. He was always very kind to me and loved his sense of humor. Shared a lot of memories over the years. He would often call the kitchen directly at 11:15 am looking for a certain person who loved to test the first biscuit out of the oven. Very sorry for your loss. My sincere sympathy the McReavy family. Marion McLellan
