Obituary of George Bradford Woodbury III

Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Greenville – George Bradford “Brad” Woodbury III, 32, passed away unexpectedly June 25, 2016. He was born February 14, 1984, in Lewiston, the beloved first son of Connie and George “Butch” Woodbury, Jr. A 2002 high school graduate, Brad was indescribably talented in his craft of woodworking and carpentry. He will be remembered for his undeniable talent and commitment to his many clients and employers. He loved his large, wonderful, honest and welcoming family immensely. He was loved by many, deeply, differently, and uniquely. His hats, sunglasses, red socks, trucks, dog “Cooper” and his man crush on the Gronk will be remembered. Brad was independent, determined, handsome and above all, had a smile that lit up any room. He had an aura that made everyone feel safe, understood and appreciate, all simply by the warmth of his presence. His joys revolved around Moosehead Lake – boating, fishing, and snowmobiling. His greatest joy and passionate love of his life was his daughter, Macie, who made him so proud every day. To quote Brad from a recent text to his mother, “Family is the gift we have forever.” Brad is survived by his beloved “baby girl”, Macie Brooke; his parents; his grandparents, Inez and Frank Johnson, and Mema; two younger brothers, Corey, and Nathan and his wife, Cordelia Seeley and their two children, Ocean and Peyton; a sister, Jessica and her husband, Joe Lavigne, and children, Gary, Ashlynn and Connor. He will be remembered by Macie’s mother, Christa Shaw, countless cherished family members, including the Woodbury’s, Brooks, Stone’s, and Gagnon’s and an endless amount of friends. Friends are invited to call from 1pm until time of memorial service at 3pm Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the Union Church, Greenville, with Pastor Ron Reamer officiating. A reception will be held after the service at the home of Dawn and Howie Stone, 30 Marsh Farm Road, Greenville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Brad Woodbury Memorial Fund, Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Greenville.
