I loved Brad like my own son. Never did he enter my house where he did not brighten a room. He said to me once, "my parents made handsome sons, huh?"... and I agreed and said, "yes and you have a very special family". Handsome, talented, compassionate and a good friend to so many. Brad's smile lingers in my mind. Our last conversation was special and I am so grateful he took the time with me. May he Rest Peacefully High in the Arms of the Angels. Missed so very much by Me and Jordan. Sending thoughts for strength and courage to Connie, Butch, Macy, Nate and Corey.

I do not know this young man, although I do recognize and know some of the family members mentioned in the obituary. I just cannot say "nothing". My heart and brain are not ready to fully accept the truth of this loss. I have not be able to post publically everything I think and feel. Growing up with Corey by my side, Brad was never far both in distance or in thoughts. Corey had a love for both of his brothers that is unique in that it comes only from being the youngest in a family with big brothers to look up to. I don't think there was a day that went by where he wasn't talking about some great accomplishment that Brad had done, no matter how small it may have actually been, Corey was definitely his biggest fan. As we got a bit older I remember Brad being like a big brother to me as well. He was all about us having fun, but not too much, in that he would let us know if he thought we needed to smarten up before we got hurt or in trouble. Unfortunately as the years go on people tend to drift apart and don't run into each other as often as we would all like but no matter how much time had passed every time I ran into Brad he would make it seem as a day hadn't passed. I always was left with a smile on my face. The last encounter I had with him was when I pulled into C.N. Brown to grab something at the store. Brad was halfway across the parking lot in the middle of a conversation with 3 or 4 other guys and stopped mid sentence, turned around to me and yelled across the parking lot "Hey Jon, how's it going!?!" with his big obnoxious wave. It seems insignificant to some but the fact that he stopped his conversation just to acknowledge me and say hi stuck with me. And I think that's a good reminder of what he was all about. He was never too good for anyone and treated everyone with the utmost respect. He genuinely cared for everyone he knew. He comes from a great family which instilled great values into all of their children. This town has truly lost a great person and that void will never be filled. To Connie, Butch, Corey and Nate I am truly heartbroken, for no one should ever have to go through this but especially all of you. I wish you all strength and hopefully someday peace during these times as we all mourn with you. Lots of love.
