my sincere condolence to the family. My Dad often talked about seeing Ruthie and her husband at the gate to the northern woods. She was a wonderful lady and I'm sure Greenville will miss her.

Ruthie and Rollie were some of my favorite people working at checkpoints for North Maine Woods. They loved the woods and had a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed listening to their stories about visitors that came through their checkpoint. They frequently mentioned family members and it was obvious they cared for them very much.
Please accept my sympathies for your loss of a wonderful lady.

Dear George and family,
I didn't know your mom, but I know George and I know how close he was to her. I met George through my son, who lives in Greenville, and was amused by his nature and love for taking his jeep into the woods.

Dear Mary, Bobby, George, Therma, Randy, Rolinda and Jeremy....I am so sorry in the passing of Aunt Ruthie. She was a very special lady and one tough lady as well. She had gone through many difficult times in her life. She and uncle Rollie had a wonderful life together though, so in that she was very blessed. She both loved and was very proud of all of you. Aunt Ruthie and I shared a lot of good times and laughter. Certainly wonderful memories I will always have.
