Dover-Foxcroft - Paul J. Hayes, 77, died April 6, 2020, from heart complications at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. He was born in Winooski, VT, to Donald P. and Paulita M. (Smyle) Hayes on January 21, 1943. Paul was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Fred L. Hayes. He is survived by his wife, Janet E. Hayes; his sisters, Hope Dennis and husband, Alan, of Victoria, TX, and Dawn Noak and husband, David, of Meyersville, TX. He leaves his children, Scott Hayes and wife, Debbie, Lori Sands and husband, James, and Randall Herring and fiance', Melissa Roy, all of Dover-Foxcroft; his grandchildren, Jerod Hayes and wife, Kathryn, Justin Hayes and wife, Samantha, Michaela Hayes and husband, Maurvin, Garrett Sands and wife, Lindsay, Kylie Watson and husband, James, Jazmine Roy, and Jarod Roy. He is also survived by the mother of two of his children, Marcia Tyler; his great-grandchildren, Jayden, Cohen, Aubrey, Michael, and Ahnaleigh Hope; special cousins, Barry and Carol Hayes of California, and Mickey and Debbie Colbry of Dover-Foxcroft, He worked at Rowell's Garage for over 40 years, was a past member of the Dover-Foxcroft JayCees, the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department, and the Dover & Foxcroft Water District Board. He loved spending time with his family, near and far, camping and sitting by the campfire. A graveside memorial service will be held at the family lot in Dover Cemetery at a later date.
