Obituary of Carl W. Knightly

Lagrange and Bangor - Carl W. Knightly Jr, 84, passed away December 12, 2019, following a brief Illness. Born July 14, 1935, in Burlington, VT, he moved to Lawrence, MA, with his parents Carl Sr. and Doris (Blanchard) Knightly, following his discharge from the US Army. Carl was a graduate of Salem State College (MA) and received his Masters degree from Boston University. He taught at Salem (NH) High School, Lawrence (MA) High School, and was the Assistant Business Manager of the Lawrence School Dept. He was the owner of Knightly Accounting and Tax until his retirement.

Carl is survived by his wife of 56 years Sonja (Hansen) Knightly; two sons, Kenneth and his wife, Merrie, of Lagrange, and David and his wife, Mellany, of North Richland Hills, TX; four grandchildren, Scott and his wife, Aimee,  Davis, Garrett, Caroline, as well as one great-grandchild, Peter, all from Texas.

Spring committal will be held with a graveside service in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lagrange.
