Dear Sarah and family
I am so grateful to have known your dear dad for my whole life!
Uncle Russell has been part of our family’s life since he met our dad in high school. The memories of Shore Acres and adventures our family 6DYGFshared, are some of the dearest parts of my life, and I am grateful to have been able to know Uncle Russell as an adventurous, thoughtful and loyal part of our “extended Shore Acres family”.
Sending love, and blessings to you your family at this difficult time.
We are all blessed to have so many wonderful memories etched upon our hearts to comfort us.

Russ was a good uncle.
He made sure my feet stayed dry when I moved to Shore Acres, much to my 7 year old NYC fashion style horror.
He gave me my first job; walking Roxanne and Cyrano for $.25 each/walk.
He taught me that one has to have a good sense of humor to survive in this world.
He made a mean oyster stew.
He was cool, handsome and rugged in that white beat-up convertible Jeep he drove at Shore Acres in the summer. I still dream of bouncing around in one of those.
He was as graceful a man as I have ever seen on the ice.
Yes, he was a good uncle to me, and I will miss him.

I was blessed enough to have known Russ. He made me laugh a number of times. The talks about the camp, made me want to explore around the smaller lakes in Maine and NH. My condolences to Sarah, and all his family.
