So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. She, like many others back home, had an impact on my childhood days. So glad we all grew up in a more peaceful time and that we had such positive influence provided by people like your mom. She always had a smile and always made me feel special whenever I saw her. Dear Swan,
I did not know your mother but in a way I did by knowing you. You have carried on her influence to you as her daughter and I am sure she was very proud of you and your accomplishments. Your mom was a wonderful person and involved in many worthwhile and rewarding organizations. She will be missed but her legacy will be carried on by you and your siblings.

Gail, Swan. and Alan, I was so sad to learn of your mom's passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Edie was one of my favorite people.
