Mark I am so incredibly sorry for your loss of both the boys. I remember them growing up in Cambridge. Always having fun and getting into mischief. If anyone put a car through the ice we knew it was one of them. I can unfortunately say that I know what you are going through and my already broken heart breaks even more for you. No parent should have to go through this . All I can say is take help whenever it is offered and let the people who love you in. Don’t be afraid to lean on someone. I have found it’s easier to breathe when someone is there. And don’t be afraid to grieve. Scream if you need to , cry when you need to, yell at god if you need to. Whatever you need to do , do it. If you ever need someone to talk to please call me or stop by. Just because our boys have gone on ahead of us doesn’t mean the love stops.

Although we only knew him at work, he was always kind and eager to help, he was always smiling and happy, and a jolly soul. We wish we had a chance to know him more personally out of work but as life goes, sometimes life is cut very short and we don not have time to do the things we want. But we believe God has bigger plans for all of us and when he needs help he calls on the best to help, unfortunately this leaves us with a hole that cannot be filled. Heaven gained a great man and god must of needed a great man for some reason, we will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all I this time of grief. God bless

My heart is broken over the world's loss of a good man. Sending all my best wishes and strength to his family right now. He was a huge part of my life for many years, and although we lost touch for a long time, I was so happy to reconnect a couple of years ago. He was incredibly proud of his son and his wife. He showed me all kinds of pictures and talked endlessly about them. Love you, buddy. You touched a lot of lives with your humor, your great attitude, and your loyalty.

The University of Maine Upward Bound community extends their condolences to Adrian's family and friends. Adrian was an Upward Bound student while in high school and spent several summers at UMaine with us. We remember him fondly as a friend and fun-loving person with lots of UB friends. He didn't have a fluffy beard back then but the twinkle in his eyes and smile (as seen in the family picture here) were the same back then. We are sorry to hear about his unexpected loss and send our love.
