I loved Michael. He was my brother-in-law for 30 years. We shared a lot of laughs, watched many football games together, and we both tried to infuse joy and laughter in our family holiday gatherings. Mike and I were more alike in personality than both of us were with our own wives, and they knew it. Like the Christmas morning when he pulled out several cans of silly string and we had a family battle. Many good memories. And he taught me much of what I know about cooking, which I understand came from his mother and grandmother. I'm going to miss his creativity, love for family, special holiday meals, his laughter, the funny voices he did, and his liberal political views. Yep, gonna miss Michael. My wife Dora and I are in prayer for everyone who knew and loved Mike (Allen), praying for inner peace, love, and family togetherness for all.

Our condolences to the entire McKenney family. Mike was an important part of my life through high school and I was so looking forward to re-connecting with him up in Maine. I will fondly remember our times together on and off the basketball court. He was one of the funniest people I ever knew and he will be sorely missed. Oh Mike...how you will be missed. I met Mike while we were stationed in FL and we worked together in the pharmacy as well as living next door to each other. We shared many memories and laughs although we didn't capture them on camera. He could walk into a room and his infectious spirit would transform any negativity. He definitely had a sense of humor. My prayers and thoughts are with his family, friends, coworkers, and all those who were blessed to have him in their life or just having known him.
