Dear Jean - Gary was such a good and decent man and it was an honor and a privilege to know him these many years. It was no surprise to me when you relayed the other day how he was so busy getting everything done at the homestead right up until the end. My heart goes out to you and your family and I will keep you all in my daily prayers, that God may bring you peace and comfort and that all the special memories of this wonderful man will always remain clear and bright.

Jean and family,
I was sorry to read of Gary's passing. My heart goes out to all of you, Mother and Aunt Mary always spoke fondly of Gary and I believe they liked a man's perspective on some issues with so many women pitching in with their opinions.
Although I will not be with you over the coming days, I will certainly be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

To my dear Aunt Jean and the rest of Uncle Gary's family,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Gary's passing. When I think about Uncle Gary, I think about our shared love for horses. As a child and young girl, I looked forward to our annual summer visit to Maine so that I could see Uncle Gary's horses. In my later adult years, whenever my company would send me to Guilford, I took advantage of that so that I could visit you and Uncle Gary and I always loved those visits.
I hope the coming days will bring some comfort as friends and family express their love for Uncle Gary and share the wonderful memories that he helped create. I will be thinking of you and hope that soon your grief will be replaced with those cherished memories.
