Obituary of Shane E. Priest

Guilford - Shane E. Priest, 35, died unexpectedly July 29, 2018. He was born July 13, 1983, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Laura J. Potenziano and Wilbur L. Priest. Shane was a loving son to his mother, is dearly missed, and will always be cherished. Shane loved sports, especially hockey and fishing. He viewed life as an adventure, and enjoyed helping others and will be remembered as a good friend with a big heart and was quick to offer a joke. When you were a friend of Shane's you were a friend for life. 

He is survived by his mother, Laura; his father, Wilbur; his girlfriend, Rosie Rowe; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be missed by his dog, Stella, and too many friends to mention. 

A memorial service will be held 10AM Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Rogan Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Blanchard Cemetery, Abbot. Following the burial family and friends are invited back to the church for refreshments and fellowship. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
