My story is another 'Hug' story. It had been a few yrs. since we had last seen each other, when we met in the Dollar Store. We began a conversation and after a few words, I was asked by Shane, "Do you know who I am?" I replied, "of coarse I know you!" Then he turned and grabbed me while saying "Then give me a hug!". I have one prayer for you sweet , sweet boy. I hope when you got home, Jesus gave you a big hug to match all the hugs you have been blessing people with every where you went. Shane was a very good friend to me, an was like a brother to me and i will always remember him as so. Laura, I am so sorry to hear of Shane’s passing. I always picture him as that happy, kind hearted elementary kid. He never had a bad word for anyone, and was always willing to help you out. The few times I ran into him as an adult, he always came to speak to me. It would take me a few minutes to recognize him, but his beautiful eyes always gave it away. Rest In Peace, Shane.

I don't even know where to start with this..Shane and I go way back from waiting for the school bus in my driveway in grade school, to doing homework together in high school and my mom making us sandwiches n snacks. Remember one time after a long night the next morning at my parents house he wanted to try out the omlet "maker." I don't think I need to explain anymore than that if you knew Shane. We had drifted apart over the years like some of us do going our own ways in life. But Shane will always be remembered to me as the fun, loving adventurous, always made you laugh friend no matter what. Laura, Wilbur and Rose you are in my thoughts and prayers.
