After God removes wickedness and suffering, the earth will be transformed into a paradise. Then people will be able to live forever in perfect health and happiness. God’s Word foretells: “[God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4.
In that new world, even dead ones will be brought back to life to share in those blessings: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) That is why Jesus Christ could tell a repentant evildoer who expressed faith in him: “You will be with me in Paradise.”—Luke 23:43.
I hope these thoughts provide some comfort during this difficult time.

Mrs. Pennington did talk many times which made us become GOOD friends. We joked and laughed and really enjoyed meeting, but one thing we didn't get a chance to do was me teaching her how to play backgammon We talked about the game and our talks will never be forgotten and this thought will put a smile on my face.Sorry for Merelyn's lose. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Mamie's passing, Jeff. I remember rushing over to Aunt Mamie's with Nana when a thunderstorm was coming because Nana hated thunderstorms and the times Nana took me over to see Aunt Mamie at Judkins. She will be greatly missed by all.

What a fun person "aunt Mamie" was to me in my life. !! And saddened to receive the news down here in Delaware on her immediate passing. She joined loved ones who we have seen pass right there at beautiful Hibbards Nursing Home. My dad, Aaron, my mother, Anna.
The most fun memory of she and I goes back years when my family drove from our home on Arthur Godfrey's property down in Virginia up to my parents home for a Christmas visit. Aunt Mamie and I jumped onto a snowmobile and off we went one night to fly over the fields and I, the driver, was yelling (to be heard by her) laffing " all the way". Noting she wasn't answering me, I turned to see why and shocked to see she was no longer my passenger!!!!! So turned the machine around and retraced my steps only to find her laying in the snow in heavy lafter!!!!! I had thrown her off. !!!!!
"THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES DEAR AUNT."

It was so nice to see her a few weeks ago, I'm so glad I made the trip to Dover and was lucky enough to have a few laughs with her again. What a great sense of humor she still had.
Every Christmas she would bring over exactly one tree shaped chocolate cake with green frosting and gel icing ribbons, a plate of "stain glass" marshmallow brownies and her AMAZING peanut butter fudge. I'll never forget it or her.
Will miss you Aunt Mamie.
Love Ryan

I have fond memories of visiting Aunt Mamie with my Dad, usually when we were up that way for the hunting season. She was a sweetheart and a kind soul who enjoyed seeing the funny side of things. Conversations never went idle as she always had a wealth of local and family news to share. I'll always miss those visits.
