I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. It is not an easy thing for any of us to go through. This bible scripture at Revelation 21: 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Along with this website at http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/lv/r1/lp-e/0/22695 has comforted me and and many others. This web site answers a lot of life's biggest questions from the Bible including the loss of our loved one and will we see them again? I hope this brings your family some comfort as it has mine.

So sorry to hear of Sue's passing. We are praying for all her family that loved her so dearly. Duke was the person who initially introduced my husband & I to each other, when Duke & Bob were in the Navy together. May God bless you all as you try to get through this difficult time!

What a wonderful teacher Mrs. McKeil was! I enjoyed having her as my homeroom and Social Studies teacher in the late 1980's at Shaw Jr. High. Mrs. McKeil made me feel cared for and supported in her class. Though I was sad to learn that Mrs. McKeil had passed away, her obituary reminded me of how lucky I was to have had her as as teacher. It also allowed me to know who she was outside of the classroom. What a neat lady!
My condolences,
Jessica Marchand

Sue McKeil was the kind of teacher all kids really need. During my own time teaching with her at Shaw Junior High School, the devotion that Mrs. McKeil had for her students and the respect and affection they had for her was tangible. Passing by her classroom, it was not difficult to hear the sounds of learning and laughter and respect. Mrs. McKeil was the teacher every student teacher should have studied under, because she got it...and she loved it...and her students and fellow teachers loved her. As a friend, Sue was a rare and special commodity! While we are all deeply saddened...she left each of us with joy...and so very many hilarious memories of her vintage humor. I will miss Sue, and send much love to Liz, Kelly and Richard.

When I was always in trouble for being too loud or talking too much, Mrs. McKeil would come over and put her arm around me and encourage me to tell her my stories. She had such a great laugh and was one of my favorite "grownup" friend of my parents. Liz; do you remember jumping into Moosehead lake in October!

We are deeply saddened for your loss. We shared so many fun times with your parents right to the end of each of their lives. In the past week, we have been reminded many times of the memories, and they have made us smile in the midst of this difficult transition. We will be in touch once we can get back to Greenville.

Ah Lassie; Sad news doesn't always travel fast. Just heard of your "move on", and ever more saddened by the fact that we didn't get to have our regular and heart-felt lunch together. I'm sure you'll tell them up there how deeply we felt about the memories we shared, and our thanks for those times, and for those who helped us carry on, day in and day out. Try to prepare those you've joined for what they'll have to deal with when, inevitably, we come knockin' at Heaven's Door. With very great affection, Fred

Dear Liz, Kelly, and Richard - Thinking of you and your family at this tough time. I am glad you live close to each other and can lean on one another through this major life transition. You were lucky to have devoted and supportive parents, and their love will continue to shine through you and your children and grandchildren.
I was certainly one of the many Mrs. McKeil lovers from Shaw Jr. High! I have fond memories of her social studies class, and I always had great respect for her as both a teacher and yearbook advisor. Plus, it was pretty cool to have Liz in our class! It wasn't until I had my own adolescents that I realized what personality it takes to connect with hormonal young ones.
My best to you,
~Kim Meggison

I am so happy for all of the family. It is amazing, realizing what a gift she is to so many people. Least of all the ones she loved the most. Liz, Kelly, Rich I am so thankful that she and your dad are together again. Such an unbelievable couple. Your dad, I'll thank him one day, used to share stories of my family in Greenville and I never got the opportunity to express my most sincere thanks. Your mom, well, as we who knew her could not have been more blessed for her to pass through our lives, from my heart my friends. As challenging as her passing is, wow, what a mark your mom and dad, together again, have left on so many. I love you all so very much and I celebrate your mom tonight. I hope to see you all before July 9th, however, I certainly look forward to that beautiful celebration. My love, thoughts, prayers and smiles are with you all.

Another leaf falls from my tree of life friends....I met Sue in 1967..we were both teachers at Shaw Jr. H.S. in Gorham. Wayne & I became fast friends with Duke & Sue..they were so good to us. Duke got Wayne the golf pro job at Kineo in 1969..Our lives took us all to Moosehead Lake..even to Squaw Condos...How ironic, she and I were both in the ER her last night.Just saw her for a moment but knew she was ready to join Duke...RIP my friend Sue..

Kelly & Family-
I am so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. Although I never had the opportunity to get to know her that well, I certainly enjoyed the time I visited with her when Gerry and Patsy Gorman were in town, and when she came to see our group sing in Monson. She will be honored and remembered in song next Thursday night at the Lakeshore House. Again, my most sincere condolences.
With Sorrow,
Dick
