James Douglas Herring Obituary
Bradenton, FL and Dover-Foxcroft - James Douglas Herring, 68, went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2024. Jim was born October 20, 1956, to Gordon D. Herring and Dorothy Lyford Herring.
Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Eileen M. Herring; her son, Adam and his wife, Alicia, and their daughters, Ryleigh and Jade; and her daughter, Leah and her husband, Justin, and their daughters, Ainsley and Adalyn.
He leaves behind his sisters, Susan H. Perkins (Mike Schneider) and Jane H. Hoffman; brother, Steven Herring; nephew, Chris Perkins and wife, Megan; a special aunt, Marlene Lyford; mother-in-law, Sandra Powell; brother-in-law, Scott Hughes and his wife, Karen; and sister-in-law, Brenda Walker and husband, Doug, and her son Logan and his fiancée, Sabrina.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Isaac Herring; brother, Peter W. Herring; uncle, Douglas Lyford; maternal grandparents, Byley and Verna Lyford; and paternal grandparents, Herbert and Doris Herring.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. His final resting place will be in the family plot at Dover Cemetery.
