Lawson Family - my condolences on your loss. I had the good fortune of working with John at UPS in Chelmsford, MA. John was responsible for Transportation / Feeders at the time. An enormous amount of responsibility and John had it running like a Swiss watch. Always had a smile on his face and never said a bad word about anyone. There were several UPSers from Maine that rotated through the Chelmsford facility - most didn't leave standing up. John made positive impacts on the operations and people around him. There was a time when UPSers referred to each other as "Partner". There was no finer Partner than John.
May your fond memories of him help you through the difficult days ahead.
