My condolences to Jack’s family and friends. He was an advocate for apprenticeship programs, the trades and CT’s workforce. Wonderful leader and mentor to many. I miss our conversations about our Italian “old school” recipes.

I had the pleasure of working with and knowing Jack for many years at the Department of Labor , both as just another employee of DOL and in my capacity of union Secretary and then President of AFSCME local 269. Jack was a wonderful person who always cared about his employees and all workers and was a great ally when one was needed to help workers. Besides that though, I considered Jack a friend who always had a ready smile and welcoming nature about him. It's just who he was and the world is definitely not as bright without him. My deepest condolences to his girls and the rest of his family and friends.
