I've known Wendell since I was born, and one thing that never changed about him was his catching smile, and his uncanny ability to know when you might need a reason to smile. After my father passed (whom Wendell was close to all through my childhood) Wendell would go out of his way to check in on me and he always made me feel good about myself. These past few years I haven't been in the area as much and it saddens me to realize you don't really appreciate just what an impact someone has on you til' some unforseen tragedy takes them away. I'd like to think that Wendell is up there {surrounded by so many others lost too soon} with that 1000 watt grin of his radiating love, hoping
for a reprieve from the pain his loss has caused... Rest easy Wendell, and thank you for all the many laughs, smiles and many years of friendship. You are loved and you will be missed! ❤️
