Russell outshined everyone I have ever met in terms of what he was willing to do in order to make someone feel loved. He had a unique ability to feel what others felt and a desire to want to listen. He loved with his whole heart and was most proud of his three beautiful children. He wasn’t understood by everybody but those who saw him for who he truly was will never fully get over losing someone unlike any other. His loss will forever change so many of us, but his memory is a cherished gift. To know Russell in this lifetime was a blessing. May we try to listen to and love others in the ways Russell did and carry his loyal, generous, charismatic, silly spirit forward. I will love you always and forever with my whole heart, Russell. You made me feel 16 again every time I talked to you. You made me feel special, and it is an honor to love you and keep you in my heart.

Russell was always the quiet kid with big brown eyes on our bus. He was good natured, smart, and had a knack for anything with a motor. We were so sorry to hear of his passing. Our deepest condolences to his beautiful children and family.
