The Champeon family sends our deepest condolences to the Larson family at this time of sorrow. Our mother Jean spoke often of her admiration for Galen’s skills and work ethic during their many years together at Dr. Gerrish’s dental practice. My brother Joe and I have great memories of Galen during basketball seasons while growing up and on golf courses in the area. He was a very kind and gentle man. He will be greatly missed in the town of Milo, and throughout Piscataquis County.

My sincere condolences to Galen's family. I worked for Dr. Steinke for a few years and had the pleasure of doing some of my work in Galen's lab. Galen taught me how to mix and pour molds of patient's teeth. He was a good man and will be missed by so very many! Rest in peace Galen.

I've always had a special relationship with Galen, even though he was 10 years older than me. I've lived away from Brownville ever since graduating from high school, and Galen was always one of my first siblings to come and visit me when I returned home to see Mom. I remember one visit where I flew into Bangor and rented a car to go to Brownville. I had an early morning return flight and was sitting at the airport in Bangor. Galen was working in Bangor at the time, and he surprised me by coming to the airport before my flight for a quick visit. I was touched that he took the time before going to work to visit me, and it really meant so much. My dear brother you will be sorely missed, and I will not forget our lively phone conversations!
Love you always!

I was privileged to work with Galen at the office of Hap Gerrish, and later Dan Steinke. Galen was like an in-house therapist--many of us gals would trudge down the cellar stairs to his shop and tell a tale or issue we were having. He was a wonderful listener and had a wealth of knowledge to share. To acknowledge Galen's incredible humor, I must share this: One morning before patients arrived the gals were gathered around the front desk and I was telling them how I could multi task getting ready for work....I would blow dry my hair while doing squats! Galen was there and replied, "well, Ging, your legs look good but your hair looks like s_ _t! He was so funny! My heart and love to Joan and all the family. Ginger

It was always such a pleasure visiting with Galen and Joan and extra special when we would unexpectedly run into them someplace. Galen had a great sense of humor and always good for a laugh. What can we say, "One of a Kind" Feeling blessed to have known him. Our sincere condolences. Much love,

To Scott, and the family of Galen Larson. From my earliest memories of competing in sports with the teams from Milo, I remember Galen always being there. Always with a smile on his face, encouraging his teams and even players from the other team. A wonderful example of the right way to do youth sports. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness, but the memories will last much longer. Keep them always close to your heart.

Aunt Joan and Family................ Very sorry to hear about Uncle Galen passing. He was a very wonderful person and a friend to all that knew him. He touched the lives of many young athletes and made it possible for many older people to have a nice smile and chew their meat properly.. His smile and dry sense of humor will be remembered by many. My personal times with Galen may have been few but what I remember as DOOZYS I know that my Dad will be glad to see him again.
Sincerely,
Stan and Jenny
