We met Jack and Lee only one time. They came to Jonesport for dinner with our mutual good friends, Bob and Joy Peters. We had a wonderful evening getting to know them. Our prayers are with his family.

Dear Lee, Jeff and I are so sorry to hear today of Jacks passing. We are sorry but also rejoicing that he is in Heaven and we will see him again someday. The last time we saw Jack was in Brewer at Burger King maybe 5 years ago. We stopped in again to see him but he had gone to Bangor to work. Thank you again for your friendship to Jeff and I and the many blessed memories we have shared with you and Jack in the past. I do think of you at times and wonder if you are still living in the trailer park out by Bangor Baptist church. That was the last time we visited you. That’s been many many years ago. God bless you Lee. Sending our love and deepest sympathy.
Love, Jeff and Sandy Beal❤️

As always, heartfelt prayers for my Uncle Jack, undoubtedly now in Heaven. I am so grateful for his time, love, & introduction to the Lord, a sustaining strength throughout my life - what a gift. He was truly dedicated to sharing God's message, a caring son & husband, & a sincere friend to many. Uncle Jack was also a huge sports fan, foodie, & loved to talk & share a hearty laugh. I remember my cousin Joel & I spending time during summer vacations in his home, his church, & learning to ride Aunt Lee's horse....it's amazing how much of a positive impact those weeks had - again, I am filled with gratitude. Joel & I joined Uncle Jack in his appreciation of basketball & all things sports related, listening to Aunt Lee sing beautiful gospel songs & eating delicious pastries - he truly was a man who enjoyed the sweet simple things in life the most. Another positive life lesson he shared, much like Gram Hyland, who was so proud of him. My Uncle Jack will always be fondly remembered for his great strengths & life changing lessons of love & laughter, conversation & small amounts of time well spent. Share a prayer, a hug, and a home cooked meal while you watch a good game - all his favorites! And know he is with our Savior above.

Pastor Jack has finished his race and has flown into Christ's promises. How Lee and all your big and little sheep will miss this Shepherd. A man of God who told the truth as it is written in The Bible. Amen... A teacher and preacher amen...again. Love to Lee and the Flock of Jock!
