My favorite memory of Joe was how much he enjoyed climbing Borestone with the freshmen every year. He will be deeply missed and my family sends healing energy to Jonah and Amanda.

Although I only worked with Joe for a year (2012-13), we became friends and corresponded for years. I valued Joe’s friendship and appreciated his commitment to the students of PCSS. He was a wonderful person and he will be missed. Godspeed my friend.

Amanda and Jonah.
Joe left his mark on this community, take comfort in knowing how that mark effected so many lives. Through his love of sports and education he will never be forgotten.
We have so many fond memories of Joe, he certainly will never be forgotten in our household.
Such a loss to all who knew and loved Joe.
RIP our dear friend.
Amanda and Jonah just know that you will always be in our hearts and prayers.

I had the pleasure to coach soccer against Joe for 4 years while I was coaching at Central HS.
Joe was a great coach who had a love for the game and the student athletes. He always showed great respect to our players and coaches.
We are truly heart broken for Joes family, friends, and the entire community.
RIP my friend, you will be truly missed.

I recall the day I took my 6th grade class to meet, for their first time, the new physical education teacher, Mr. Gallant. I knew immediately Joe would be good for our students, and the middle school would benefit greatly through his determination and energy. I pray God will consider Joe’s heart and love for his students.

It’s odd and how things happen randomly like the passing of Mr Gallant. I only had him for half a semester so I can’t really share much of him but the way he taught gym class just made everyone keep going. Some things no one liked including corn hole but we all sticked with it. He was pretty excited when I told him I wanted to do baseball and I couldn’t forgot that
Rest In Peace Gallant

As the superintendent of MSAD #4, I worked closely with Joe in his role as athletic director. I appreciated his hard work and dedication to student athletes. He was passionate about his fund raising project to improve our fields, particularly, the track field. We had many conversations recently about his new drivers education business. I am deeply saddened by Joe's passing and my thoughts are with his family.
Sincerely,
Kelly MacFadyen
