September 14, 2021, I got quite a surprise. Robert Brooks walked into WHCF radio in Bangor to interview for a program to promote CMMF, and who should walk in with Robert, but Don Bailey! I hadn't seen that dear soul in many years. In the very early 2000s we had worked on some local men's conferences together. What wonderful days those were as we strived to reach and encourage men in the name of the Lord. It was great that he decided to join in the radio interview with Robert.
My sincere condolences to the family. Heaven will be that much sweeter. God bless.

It was a blessing and an encouragement anytime I was in the presence of this man. He had a way of speaking that was profound, yet simple and to the point. Don was an encourager. I am thankful that I got to know him through CMMF and I praise God that we can grieve, yet not as those who have no hope. Thank you to a family that shared Don with all of us, and prayers are with you.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Bailey family. Don will be miss by all that knew him. He was always someone I look forward to talking to at the Central Maine Men's Fellowship, it will not be the same without him. I thank God for time we had with him and filled with the hope that we meet him again in heaven. He now is in the hands of his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Well done good and faith servant.

We will all miss Don a lot and were thankful for him. Enjoyed working with and fellowshipping with him at Central Maine Men's Fellowship meetings. I once asked him to come and speak to the Church in Garland while our Pastor was on vacation. When he got there that morning he said he had never done that before. I knew God would bless him and use him that morning, so I didn't feel sorry for him. But prayed for Don. With all the sharing and teaching Don did at the Men's meeting I just thought - well its about time he did preach. We all enjoyed his message and think he did - when it was over! Don was looked up to and loved. David & Shari Page

Don Bailey was one of the brightest lights of my time at Cianbro. He was one of the kindest men I've ever met. After my mothers death Don came to see me and gave me one of the biggest hugs, his eyes filled with crocodile tears and told me that "as long as the world has you she'll never really be gone" and on my worst days I still hear him say that. I hope people share his stories and his kindness as often as possible, and then maybe he will never really be gone. Thinking of everyone close to him and sending love and prayers. - Kristi (Connell) Burrill

Don was one of the most admired people at Cianbro. He cared about people and his actions proved that each and every day. Don would go out of his way help individuals before they needed to ask for assistance. I will always remember his smile and comforting demeanor. He made me a better person. Alan Burton
