I don't think I can find the words to describe how important Seth's sense of humor was to shaping my own. A fan of the most absurd comedy, he could laugh at the most ridiculous, taking me along for the ride. Countless nights in front of computer screens together with a Mel Brooks or Monty Python movie running in the background was where most of our work was done. Quoting the lines that made us laugh the most, timed perfectly. An experience I'm sure most friends that spent time with Seth know and cherish. Those days were so important to us that nearly 100% of our communication these days were waxing nostalgic about how much fun we had. I miss those days, and I'm going to miss Seth.

I was so incredibly sad to hear about Seth's passing. He was one of my closest friends in college, and he did so much to keep our band of UMF geeks and nerds together through the years since. I can't even begin to think of what my life would have been like without him there, ready to help make any random plan we thought up a reality. We had such wonderful adventures--camping, playing games, geeking out over movies, and telling whimsical and wonderful stories.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to think of the world without him.

Many of my fondest memories from childhood and teen years were spent with Seth. In middle school, I enjoyed so much coming over after school to play Super Mario Brothers (with the game genie of course), watching Chewie the hamster roll around in his ball, and riding bikes around Milo. In high school, Seth and I spent a lot of time together playing in the school band and the community band. He was a talented trumpet player. We played at the Pittsfield Egg Festival and the 75th anniversary of the 'marriage' of Dover and Foxcroft. Seth was very proud of his first car, a red Toyota pick up. He always comes to mind when I see one of those on the road. Seth was an all around great guy and a strong academic. I was always in awe of his ability to understand and operate computers. Seth helped me survive the middle school and high school years, which can be really tough years sometimes. I am deeply saddened to hear that we have lost Seth. The Lord has called my friend home early.
