My sincere condolences to your family. You don’t know me or my family personally, but we were one of the boot camp families that Lynn “mothered” and we couldn’t have done it without her support and generosity of spirit. Our thoughts are with you.

When I, as a concerned grandparent, reached out to PI support, Lynn became my contact person. She communicated with me thru the whole process, right up to graduation day, encouraging me and praying for my grandson. Following are a couple of Lynn’s last comments to me after my grandson’s graduation – Lynn: “Congratulations to your awesome grandson, Pvt. Thomas. Oohrah!” - “You can reach out to me anytime you need support and encouragement, or if you have a question. I'll always be here for you.❤️” Lynn, was a selfless asset to the Marine’s support system for families of new recruits and I’m sure she will be missed by many. I want to express my deepest sympathy to Lynn’s family, who she dearly loved. I enjoyed the posts she shared about her own amazing family, children and grandchildren. May God bless each one of you with a peace and comfort as you endeavor to go on in this life without this loving & compassionate lady.

I had a hard time adjusting to life as a MoM. Lynn was always a source that could be counted on for continous guidance and support. I've had many, many conversations with her over the years and better yet- countless laughs. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.

I never met Lynn, but her support when my son was in Boot (2016) was priceless. She inspired me to stay on the PIAPF page on Facebook & impart my experience to those families who followed. The USMC helped make my son a better man, son, grandson, husband & father. Lynn helped make me a better "dad of a Marine". Semper Fidelis. Semper Familia.

Such a beautiful soul, gone too soon. Lynn held us together while our son was in bootcamp. She never left a question unanswered. She made the most beautiful personalized blanket for my son when he became a Marine (10/5/19). Like many, we never got to meet her personally but it didn't matter as we felt like we all knew her. May God comfort her family and friends, and May her beautiful soul rest well in paradise. Til' Vahalla, Semper Fi Queen.

Lynn was always there for me if I had a question while my grandson was going through marine boot camp. I felt such a loss in my heart when I read of her passing but I know she is continuing helping others in heaven as I type. May you all find some comfort in knowing she gave so much love, care and distant hugs to so many. She def was a very special person. I’m def missing her.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She was the person who kept me from falling apart when our grandson was going through boot camp and we didn’t hear from him. Each day she described what he would be doing in training that day. It made me feel closer to him and knowing what he went through to graduate made us even more proud of him that day. I think of her often still and what her posts meant to me. I feel sorry for the parents who won’t have her support and caring now. She was the best. My heart felt sympathy is sent to all her family.

This loss has hit me harder than I would've thought. Such an amazing woman who truly held me up during a time I had no idea how to handle. My heart hurts for Lynn's family and for all the MOMS who will miss out on the opportunity to know her and have her guidance and love like I did. Sending so much love to her family. To Dane: Just know that through your mother's love and pride for you... you have so many other MoMS who feel her heart for you as well. We watch you succeed with pride and love as well.

I am so sorry to hear this. She was amazing sending me mom stickers when our son was in boot camp 7 years ago at the Island. She answered so many questions that all of us new moms had. She provided pictures for us when we needed to just have a glimpse of hope. Lynn, you keep watching over all of them! Sempre Fi!❤️

My heart is truly saddened to hear this. I am just seeing this. Mrs. Lynn was a kind, caring lady who really helped me through some times in dealing with the hardships of dating a marine. She was always there for me. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Lynn and her family. God truly received an angel. The one thing I know to be true about Mrs. Lynn is that she truly loved her family and talked so highly of her son.

I didn’t know Lynn, but appreciated her so much as my son was away at bootcamp. Thank you to her family for sharing her with us MoM’s. She helped so many of us navigate through such a hard time when we were totally lost and confused. Knowing she has Jesus as her Savior and heaven is her new home brings a smile to my heart. God bless your family as you go through this difficult time.

Lynn helped me through boot for my youngest. She answer any and all questions ( some of mine were stupid ones, she would laugh and say never a stupid question). I never got to meet her personally but she was my friend. Watch over our boys and fly high with the angels.

Lynn Hayes was a very special person although I did not know her personally I was part of the Marine Mom family that she began...her postings helped me get through my son's boot camp and my son served during that time under her son, Dane. I thought she was so considerate and kind to do what she did --she remained dedicated to that job --for quite a number of years. I am sorry to hear we lost what I consider 'one of the good ones' and my heart and thoughts are with her family.

Please accept my deepest condolences! I knew Lynn thru Marine Mom's. She watched as my Marine went up in rank and how I feared his last deployment which was Afghanistan. I watch Dane become a drill sgt, get a girl, get married and started a family. Lynn was so happy about that Dane. God Bless Lynn. Rest in Peace. Susan Redding

It brings me such sorrow to know Lynn is no longer here on earth with us. I met Lynn years ago because our love of supporting our Military. I would adopt deployed troops in all branches and Lynn would contact me so her group of Marine moms could help. I would let her know I had mostly Army and she said give them to her. I was so happy to enlist her help. We both had the same goal, to let our Military know how much we appreciate each and every one of them and to send letters and care packages to thank them. I will miss not seeing her private message asking for names. She is such an amazing person who will be missed by thousands!
To her family, her love shined through and she was so proud of her family. You are in my heart and prayers.

Oh Mama Lynn! You was my saving Grace and an Angel sent from above when our paths crossed in 2013! Little did I know that you would be my strength through boot camp with my son. You gave me hope of reuniting with him and always prayed it would happen and because of you it finally did. You loved unconditionally and was always there for us Marine MoMs! Charlie Company will never be the same without Mama Lynn. Go rest easy now and keep those Jarheads in check. We got this down here. Love you always Mama Lynn!! SEMPER FI ♥️♥️
