Dover-Foxcroft – Mark R. Nutter, 61, died June 12, 2021, at his home. He was born August 7, 1959, in Waterville, the son of Carl and Irene (Scribner) Nutter. In 1978, Mark married his high school sweetheart, Denise Thebarge. Mark spent his earlier years working for his dad in the family business, Penquis Surge. In 1996, he purchased the business from his dad. In 2000, Mark added the businesses, Penquis Rental and MS&D Gravel. Mark enjoyed fishing with his sons, hosting family BBQ’s, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mark is survived by his wife, Denise Nutter; two sons, Derrick Nutter and Shane Nutter; mother, Irene Nutter; three brothers, Michael Nutter, David Nutter, and Dan Nutter; sister, Donna Bryant; grandchildren, Hailey Nutter, Elyse Nutter, Elizabeth Nutter, Yogi Nutter, and Dominic Redmond. He was predeceased by his father, Carl Nutter. At Mark’s request, there will be no formal services. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
