Obituary of Gordon W. Joslyn
Brownville – Gordon Wayne Joslyn, 74, passed away May 10, 2021, at his home. He was born February 17, 1947, in Brownville, the son of Carl and Louise (Pomelow) Joslyn.
Gordon had served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969. He had worked for Milo Exxon for 28 years. Gordon enjoyed hunting and fishing and always looked forward to his afternoon rides. He was a kind man and he will be loved and missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; they had an extraordinary life together. He leaves his daughter, Elizabethann Chilcote-Joof; two grandchildren, Imani and Omarion; a brother, Stacy Joslyn; two sisters, Bonnie MacDonald and Betty Stubbs; a nephew, Joseph Cusack and his family; and a niece, Amanda Joslyn and her family. He will be remembered by several nieces and nephews; his very close friend, Justine Dominy and family; friends, Wayne Russell, and Isabella Sevick; and his dog, Eeyore.
