Obituary of Terry M. Mayo

Please share a memory of Terry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Milo – Terry Maurice Mayo, 56, passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2021. Terry graduated from Milo High School, Class of 1984. Terry could be found skipping school at an early age to sneak off to his favorite fishing spot. In his spare time, Terry loved to go hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and close friends. Terry had many endearing qualities, but his most loved quality was that he never pretended to be anyone but himself. He was a big hearted, thoughtful and caring man even though he tried not to show it. Terry would go out of his way to do something kind for someone else. He was just a grumpy old man with the biggest teddy bear inside. Terry was a kind and loving partner to his spouse of 33 years, Pamella Larrabee, as well as an amazing father to their daughters and the best Pepa his grandchildren could ask for. Aside from being survived by his spouse, Pamella, Terry leaves behind his two daughters, Kaylynn Whalen and her husband, Jamie, of Sorrento and Tiffany McKusick and her partner, Dan, of Parkman; and son-in-law, Charles McKusick. Terry also leaves behind his mother, Shirley Cote; sister, Leeane Cote and her husband, Patrick Larrabee; and brother Scott Cote and his daughter, Sara Cote, of Connecticut. Terry leaves behind his well-loved grandchildren, Ewan, Skylar, Conner and Caleb; special friends, Addison and Amy Smith; and his special niece, Hannah Guthrie, whom he was so proud of. Terry was predeceased by his grandparents, Maurice and Dola. To honor Terry’s wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
