Sangerville – Merton W. Pratt, 85, passed away March 16, 2021, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born March 11, 1936, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Merton Wilbur Sr. and Dorothy (Bragg) Pratt.
Merton had worked in several places but spent most of his working life at Pride Manufacturing in Guilford, retiring after 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and working in his shop and garage. He loved his three dogs, Duke, Skinner, and Freddy.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lula R. (Dyer) Pratt; 3 children, Penny Lee Buzzell of Florida, Lisa Jean Mitchell of Sangerville, and David Merton Pratt of Dover-Foxcroft; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Lee Sally.
