Obituary of Franklin J. Moulton
GUILFORD – Franklin J. Moulton, 94, passed away peacefully March 2, 2021, at Westgate Manor in Bangor. He was born May 30, 1926, in Tobique, New Brunswick, the son of Andrew and Louise (Innis) Moulton.
Franklin was very proud of being a World War II Veteran who served on the USS Antietam. He was also very proud to have served as manager for the First National and IGA stores, and ended his career as a manager at Hardwood Products in Guilford. He loved hunting, fishing and entertaining his family with his harmonica playing.
He is survived by his son, David Moulton and his wife, Brenda, of Coventry, CT; three daughters, Mary Bateman and her husband, Wayne of Wells, Tammy Boyington of Milford, and Ann Bicknell of Milford. Franklin has six grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Moulton, Christopher and Dustin Bateman, and Sebastian and Chandler Boyington.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Saint Joseph’s New Cemetery in Rockwood, ME. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolences may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
