Please share a memory of Timothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Medford – Timothy P. Boobar, 70, passed away February 8, 2021, at his home. He was born January 20, 1951, in Milo, the son of Lawrence G. and Virginia B. (Decker) Boobar. Tim was proud to serve with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; he was affectionately called Pappie by many children, not only his grandchildren. Tim loved fishing, hunting (especially hunting camps), and spending time at camp with his family. He was a quiet, humble, and giving man. Tim always made sure his family had what they needed, and often times that meant he went without. He will truly be missed. Tim is survived by his wife, Debra (Gray) Boobar; son, Larry Boobar and his wife, Rhonda, of Maxfield; two daughters, Amanda Hatch and her husband, Justin, of Howland, and Angel Dewitt and her husband, Eric, of Medford; three brothers, Raymond Boobar and his wife, Bonnie, of Glenburn, Jeffrey Boobar and his wife, Laura, of Medford, and Mark Boobar and his companion, Diana Ricci, of Lagrange; sister, Marie Drinkwater and her husband, Arthur, of Medford; four grandchildren, Dylan Clement, Larry J. Boobar, Matthew Hatch, and Ian Boobar; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend, Mark Carney. Tim was predeceased by his parents; brother, Larry D. Boobar; and grandson, Darren Clement. A graveside service will be held in the family lot of the Medford Center Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
