I worked with Lil at GHS and we had a lot of good times swapping stories in the kitchen at the school. She was so funny and I looked forward to seeing her and talking with her every day. Even though I moved out of town, I often came back and visited Lil at the Corner Shop. She was such a hard worker and I'm very sad that she didn't get the chance to enjoy the retirement that she so deserved. My heart goes out to her family and close friends.

My deepest sympathies to all Lillian’s family. I’m deeply saddened to hear this news it breaks my heart that tshe was taken from us too soon. It’s been years and years since I’ve talked to her too many and now here we are. If I could say one thing about her, it was that she was good natured and easy going. Met her during my school days but got to know her very well and called her friend after high school (all those years at Jamiesons) Billy Jr. was fortunate to have such a good mother and equally good wife to Sr. She became a fixture of the town everyone knew her and her helpful nature won her many accolades. Heaven has gained another angel she earned her wings serving her community and fellow citizens. Rest In Peace Lillian the Lord is giving you a well deserved break. My deepest condolences to family and all her friends she was a special one and will be sorely missed. ❤️
