Dover-Foxcroft - Andrew M. MacDougall, Jr., 93, husband of the late Dorothy J. MacDougall, died Nov. 18, 2020, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born Mar. 8, 1927, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the son of Andrew and Louise MacDougall. Andrew enlisted in the Navy when he was 17, assigned to the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt at the end of WW2 and was recalled into the Korean War on the USS Dyess DD-880. Andrew retired as Facilities Manager of MIT in Cambridge, Mass. and was an accomplished painter and photographer. Andrew is survived by two sisters Ethel, and Louise; brother, Walter; many nieces and nephews; and his neighbors, the Kurzius Family and "adopted" granddaughter, Sophie. No services will be held but memorial contributions may be made in Andy's name to the Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society, 28 Orchard Road, Dover-Foxcroft, Maine 04426.
