Guilford - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Evelyn F. Griffin at age 89 who died on November 11, 2020, in Guilford, of complications related to a short-term illness. Evelyn was born on April 6, 1931, in Boston, MA to parents, Christine (Goodney) and Frederick Roth. She was a long-time resident of North Easton, MA, having lived there for over fifty-seven years. She was loved and cherished by many people, including her children: Christine Lopez of Nokomis, FL; James Griffin, of FL; John Griffin, of ME and Sue Anne Wilbur of Guilford, ME; by her grandchildren: Michael Hanrahan of FL, Kelly Hanrahan of FL, Kyle Griffin of CA, Melissa Schultz of FL, and Christine Wilbur of MA; and her great-grandchildren: Heiley Hanrahan of FL, Keith Sorensen of FL, Madison Hanrahan of FL, Alexis Herman of FL, Arianna Fresina of MA, Audrey Fresina of MA, Miles Schultz of FL, and Colin Schultz of FL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Zorn of Peoria, AZ, her brother, Fred Roth of FL, and her husband, John Griffin of Easton, MA. Evelyn was quick witted and loved cooking, bingo, card games, knitting, sudoku and her extended family. Evelyn was a devout Catholic who attended the Immaculate Conception Church in North Easton for many years. Due to recent events, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
