To the chase family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Gordon was an incredible human being, and friend. I can not count the hrs Gordon and I spent shooting the breeze at Jolly Gardener in Poland springs where I worked the scale house. He would roll up to the scales in his truck with something witty to say, and then come upstairs for his paperwork, reload his coffee...we made sure the pot was fresh for him..and hang out for a bit. He always had a story to tell!
