I don’t know why every once in a while I look back and I’m grateful for the friendship.I think of Roy and I start to chuckle.Boy we had some fun times together. Laugh like hell and try to get others to join in. Those were precious days then out of the blue we can be into the deepest mood talking about our families. Roy I could sure use you today. At any rate I know my life. Was awesome because of our friendship. You we’re a true blue friend and confident. In time we will laugh and cry again but things will be okay because of you.

I knew Roy as a youngster. I can still recall his signature laugh as if it were yesterday. We played many games like Army, neighborhood football, sliding in the winter, or wherever our imaginations took us. A rainy day might keep us inside for a game of Monopoly but Roy always loved the outdoors. He probably would have made a wonderful fish and game warden. On second thought, Roy would probably start chatting with everyone and never issue a citation. The mechanical aptitude he developed probably started when he bought a Chevy Vega. I think that car needed repairs as soon as he brought it home. I couldn't have asked for a better childhood friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Roy and his family.

Roy had the kindest soul.. He loved Karen.. his First and only Love in this World Soo Much ..and their boys more than anything .. when Andrew , Frank , and Mark were young he was an eagle eye always watching over and trying to keep them from any harm. I know that he would have roped the moon for his grandchildren... I always loved and looked up to Roy and Karen .. they always included me and being a the little sister.. I'm sure that wasn't always what they wanted to do!! Roy made a difference in this world!!!
He leaves a void that can't be replaced.. So Loved. So Missed

I'm so sorry to read of Roy's passing. I worked at Mayo while Roy was there. He always had a smile and something to say then more conversation! He always asked how I was doing when I saw him in Shaw's as I would him. Remember all the laughter, fun and love you have shared.

I was so saddened to hear of Roy's sudden passing. I worked with him at Mayo, and really enjoyed the conversations we had. I saw him after he left Mayo and he seemed to really enjoy his new job, working with special-needs kids. He had such a big heart and was very kind to all. I can see how much he loved his family in the pictures here. Roy will truly be missed. May he rest easy.
