Sangerville - Patricia A. (Andrews) McPhetres, 85, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2020 at Mayo Regional Hospital. She was born in Guilford, April 15, 1935, daughter of James and Dianna (Ducette) Andrews. Most of her working life was spent as a bookkeeper at several local businesses including Pan-Am Shoe Co., a division of Dexter Shoe Co. She was an excellent seamstress and loved reading and tole painting. Patricia is survived by her husband of 65 years, Paul E. McPhetres, of Sangerville, Maine; her daughter and son-in-law, Penny and John True of Windsor, Maine; a granddaughter and husband, Leslie and Lenny Oswald of Lorida, FL; a grandson and wife, Chad and Amy McPhetres of St. Lucie, FL; a grandson and wife, Eric and Kellian Field of Stuarts Draft, VA; five great-grandchildren, Victoria Lyn, Jaden, Jeremy, Jackson and William; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Dianna Andrews; her sister, Dolores Hunt; her brother, Leslie Andrews; and her son, James Leslie McPhetres. At her request there will be no funeral. She will be buried at Lawn Cemetery in Guilford at a later undetermined date. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home.
