Tony just found out from Mary that your wife passed away. We are sending Condolences Maureen Hayward and Myself, on behalf of working with one of the most kindest, caring and considerate man weve ever had the opportunity to work in the Social Services Field. The messages clearly show that she had a heart as big as yours if not bigger. Take care Mr. Zambrano. Prayers always and forever

Tony,
Although I did not know your wife, from what I read she was an incredible person, well rounded and accomplished. You are so very fortunate to have been married and in love with someone for 32 years. I realize you are suffering great pain, but I hope when you feel down you are comforted by the good life you built with Michelle.
My prayers are with you.

I don’t know where to start other than you inspired everyone you met. I got very close to you in the years we worked together and one thing I know is your light was there for everyone around you. Tony, Sadie, and Noah life may never be the same but know she helped so many and she loved you more than life itself and when she talked about family she lit up.

Tony and family,
My deep condolences and prayers. Michelle and I shared nursing posts at Moosehead and Hardwood. Later I had the pleasure to work with her in conjunction with promoting wellness and school gardens. She radiated her zest and passion for life, nursing, her students and her family, friends and horses. My heart goes out to you

Tony, Sadie, and Noah. Shelly was the best part of my first two years at Orono. Had we not been randomly put together as roommates for freshman year, I am not sure how I would have managed. She was fun, smart, and honest. She was one of the best people I have ever known. It did not surprise me to find after we managed to get back in contact, that she was a school nurse and I could see how those interactions would have been so natural and important to her. I loved seeing your pictures and I can see just how fantastic a bond you all had, and I grieve so much for your loss. She was truly one of kind, a true and good person, with a wicked sense of humor.

Dear tony and family,
I am so sorry to read about Michelle's passing away. There is little I can say that will lessen the grief. We had met only couple of times at DEHI events but her friendly smile remains with me.

My heart goes out to Tony and family - Michelle was one of those magical people that you never forgot. Her caring for the kids and staff at school, her worries about their families, and the energy she gave to advocate and care for all was amazing. To say that she will be missed is an understatement.

She was a wonderful person. She treated my daughter Ashley Willis with a lot love and always on top of stuff for her. Ashley has Down syndrome. She treated Ashley just like she would any other student. My heart and prayers go out to her family.

Michelle touched so many people in many walks of life. She made a difference in our schools, community and through her work with her precious horses. I am amazed at the contribution she has left with all of us. Peace, love and healing to Michelle’s friends and family. Bob and I are so sorry for her passing. We have a bit of her with us from her horse manure.

Auntie Michelle was an amazing woman. Full of life, laughter and love. She has given me a lot of great advice through the years. She taught me how to ride a horse and as a family we share many memories together from Christmas get togethers to graduations. My heart is heavy, I can only imagine what Uncle Tony, Sadie, Noah and her parents are going through. My love and support goes out to you guys. Auntie Michelle you are going to be missed by not only me but by many. I love you and will miss you so much.

We have so many wonderful memories of Michelle, we are still in shock to learn of her passing. I met Michelle at Moosehead and we spent many hours during lunch working on Crossword puzzles, laughing over silly things and at times getting into a little mischief. After Sadie was born we took a trip to Santa's Village in New Hampshire with Michelle, Tony, Sadie, my husband Wayne, granddaughter Elaina and myself. We organized a train ride on the Belfast and Moosehead Railroad, another great memory with the Zambrano family. Thankfully we were also included in the infamous sledding parties at her parents place. Over the years we formed so many memories and Michelle brought joy where ever she went. I've loved keeping up with the family on her Facebook posts. The world has truly lost a wonderful person and we've lost a friend. Our hearts and thoughts are with you Tony, Sadie and Noah.

Sadly for me, I only had the opportunity to meet Michelle once, but I know it will come as no surprise to those who knew her--it was such a fun time, and I will cherish it always, even more now. I had thought that there would be other times I'd get to interact with her, confident with the off-hand complacency all we mortals feel, believing life is permanent. Still, it was evident that she was a person fully present, fully involved in life and living. There can be no condolence that could ever possibly suffice here, so I will not offer that. Instead, I offer gratitude -- for that afternoon in Jaeme's new house putting together Ikea furniture, and laughing all our silly butts off. Godspeed, Michelle. You are sorely missed!

I spent a lot of time at the home of Betty and Melvin Ames, Debbie and I were best friends from birth, time has a way of sending us all our into different directions. But the one thing time cannot errase, love! Once you become a part in someone's life, it's forever! The Ames Family! One of my forever familys! I loved them all in special ways, I'm grateful for the safe haven within the walls of love and laughter. I'm grateful to be an extended child, as Betty said to me once, What's one more! Peace can be found with loving arms, a smile, understanding ways, and I'm so very thankful it was given to me in their home in the River Road in Sebec. With love and heartfelt condolences, I pray for love to lead you all through this tragic loss. Let your happy memories flow, lift Michelle up with great Joy! For we all know she certainly was a great Joy to us all. All my love to my second family.
