I met Gordon at the Christmas tree place and then got to know him better when he learned I was going to Spain and he told me about the currency there. My husband and I played cribbage with him at Kiwanis but usually lost to him. He loved showing off his coin collection and knew so much about them. He was always pleasant and had a smile on his face. We will miss seeing him around town.

I have known Gordon through the local cribbage group for the past two years. Gordon loved cribbage and I very seldom saw him lose a game. I can say I did win a few times . He would grumble for a few minutes and move on. He liked showing everyone new coins he acquired. I will miss his smile. Jane Clark

My husband introduced me to Gordon a few years back. He spent a lot of time talking with him because he was one of the regulars at work. I spent a lot of time talking with Gordon myself. He had many interesting stories and so much history in his mind, the interesting coins he showed us and the time just talk about anything, joking and laughing. He never made you feel judged or unwelcome at his table. We were very fortunate to have him as a friend and someone we shared our holiday dinner with. We always hold the memory of Gordon close to our hearts. We are so sorry for the great loss his family and friends have endured. lots of love to Gordon rest easy friend
