Dover-Foxcroft - Adolfo “Fito” Zepeda, 66, of Dover-Foxcroft, went to be with his Heavenly Father and Savior on January 9, 2020. Fito was a devoted husband, father, and faithful servant of God. He was always witty, loving, selfless, hardworking and known for his good-natured teasing. Whether it was through blessings and laughter or sufferings and adversity, he always humbly submitted to the will of the Lord and never doubted his faith. He left El Salvador for the U.S. in 1981 in search of a better life for his future family. His life, full of love, labor, and sacrifices, are now the fruits of his family’s future. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Maria Ana; sons, José and Sebastian; father, Salvador “Papachamba” Zepeda; siblings, Rubia Zepeda, Doris Woodward, Elsy Reyes, Salvador “Chamba” Zepeda, Ana Hosea, Sonia Stevenson and Lidia Danz, and their families. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at United Baptist Church in Dover-Foxcroft at 2 PM. A celebration of life will be planned for the spring.
