Obituary of Esther Arlene Mars

Parkman – Esther Arlene Mars, 65, passed away peacefully November 6, 2019, at her home with her husband by her side. She was born April 22, 1954, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of David and Barbara (Davis) Thurlow. Arlene worked for many years at Hardwood Products. She was a very faithful Christian and was active with the Grace Bible Church serving as a Sunday school teacher. Arlene also ministered to the K thru 6 children in the Word of Life Olympian Club for 21 years. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Mars; two brothers, David Thurlow and wife, Eva, and Robert Thurlow and wife, Patti; two sisters, Rose Perkins and husband, Shane, and Bonnie Dickinson and husband, Fred; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Patsy Mesaric, and husband, Mark.

A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, November 16, 2019, at the Grace Bible Church, Sangerville, with Pastor David Ray Jr. officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
