Obituary of Mary H. Chase

Sangerville - Mary Holly Chase, 65, passed away peacefully November 2, 2019, at her home. She was born December 9, 1953, in Meriden, Connecticut, the daughter of Harold W. and Geraldine (Mandigo) Gowing. Mary worked in the Dover-Foxcroft area for 35 years as a waitress at several local restaurants, and most recently worked as a cashier at Shaw’s.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Dennis A. Chase of Sangerville; son, Dennis W. Chase and wife, Evelyn, and their children, Marion and Zoe, all of Switzerland; and daughter, Denise Fortier and fiancé, Peter Plasse, of Addison, and her daughters, Felicia Cleaves and husband, Justin, and their children, Audrey and Thomas all of Dover-Foxcroft, and Britney Rezendes and husband, Matthew, and their daughter, Sophie, all of Newport.

A memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Phil McGlauflin officiating. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to the home of her granddaughter, Felicia Cleaves, 282 Foxcroft Center Road, Dover-Foxcroft, for continued celebration of Mary’s life.
