Please share a memory of Scott to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ripley – Scott Leland Austin Jr., 31, passed away unexpectedly October 5, 2019.  He was born April 1, 1988, in Bangor, the son of Scott L. Sr. and Catherine L. (Hopkins) Austin.  Scott absolutely loved being a father and had an endless love for his daughters, Allison and Lydia. He will forever be remembered for his bright smile and his beautiful blue eyes. He had a true love for his family and mother nature. Scott enjoyed working in the woods and cutting wood; he had a true pride and appreciation of being a logger like his father and grandfather. He logged in Jackman, logged in Garland with his father, mined slate in Monson, and worked in the gravel pit in Garland. He also enjoyed fishing, and taking care of his “garden”.

Scott is survived by his two daughters, Allison Austin and Lydia Neal; father, Scott Austin Sr.; mother, Catherine Austin; sisters, Sarah Nichols and her husband, William, and Stacey Austin; paternal grandmother, Joyce Austin; maternal grandmother, Linda Brewer and her husband, Ralph; a niece; two nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

“There are many angels up there to help guide you in this journey, Bampy Austin, Grampa Kevin Bourgoine, and Jerzy. You’re in good hands. May you help guide us from above.”
