Parkman- Millage C. Gilbert, 54, husband of Tina M. (Carpenter) Gilbert, passed away May 21, 2016, at his home. He was born January 21, 1962, in Dexter, the son of Merle C. Sr. and Jeannette M. (Cullicutt) Gilbert. Millage was a very talented man in many areas. He was a skilled logger, farmer, carpenter, mechanic and welder. He was a wonderful loving father, grandfather, husband, brother and son. He was a man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Millage loved spending his days outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was a man who would give you the shirt off of his back and would always give you an honest answer to any question you would ask. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving him. In addition to his beloved wife, Tina, Millage is survived by his parents; son, Darren M. Gilbert and husband, Richard C.; two daughters, Karen M. Turnbull and husband, Stephen B., and Phylicia R. Clukey and husband, Jhonathan A.; three grandchildren, Jackson A. Turnbull, and Austin J. and Natalie R. Clukey; three brothers, Merle C. Gilbert, Jr. and his wife, Lori, Calvin Gilbert and his wife, Julie, and Hartley Gilbert and his wife, Kimberly; sister, Cindy Westberry and husband, Paul; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather at Millage and Tina’s home, 552 North Dexter Road in Parkman on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm.
