My condolences to the Family. Dale was a fun member of the Monson Jammers Song Circle.
He played a mean flugelhorn, and allways had some jumpy numbers to play. He will be missed, not only for his music, but for his witty conversation, and his big smile.

What a shock to see that Dale has died. It just won't seem right at camp this summer not to see him motoring by on his scooter. Deepest condolences to all the family, especially Scott and Robin from all the Garnisses. We will miss him..............

I surely will miss you, Dale. Thank you for taking me under your wing when I was in Middle School and for being my angel so many times over the years. Thank you for surprising me one day in the summer of 1982 with your delivery of the vibes--all to make sure I could stay with "the boys" and join the high school stage band. Thanks for being the best birthday buddy since 1979. Sharing our Ides of March birthday together for all these years has been such fun, so endearing, and yes, 99% of the time, you beat me to the punch by getting your card in the mail first! Thank you for saving me that one day when I got my Dad's truck stuck in a ditch, and thank you for your kindnesses after my Dad's death three years ago.Your words always meant the world to me because they always came from the heart. I love you. If it's alright by you, I think I'll continue to send you a Happy Birthday message each March 15th.

Dale Huff was a great, great man. Anyone that could teach music to the most obnoxious set of pre-teens on the face of the planet has a special place in Nirvana seated high above the salt. We owe him so very much for the gift of being able to get up on the stage of life each day and perform. Godspeed, Dale, we will miss you.

So sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of spending summers with Dale at Whetstone. His affable nature and quick wit made him a pleasure to be around. I can't recall a time when he didn't have a smile on his face. He will surely be missed by everyone lucky enough to have been in his presence. I cherished those times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
