Obituary of Sharon Gayle Richardson

Sebec – Sharon Gayle Richardson, 78, wife of the late Robert Richardson, passed away June 22, 2019, in Bangor. Born in Dover-Foxcroft on November 20, 1940, daughter of E. Lucille Morin, and raised by her grandparents Helen and Harry Whittier on Lincoln St, Dover-Foxcroft. Sharon graduated from Foxcroft Academy class of 1959, she and Robert married a week later. Sharon loved the real estate game, she worked many years as an agent for Century 21, before buying and flipping homes with her second husband the late Charles Young. Sharon’s love of travel took her all over the United States, Mexico and Canada by RV, and to Barbados and Panama Canal via cruise ship.

 

She is survived by a son, Mark Richardson, and his wife Annette, Sebec; a daughter Dona Grant, and her husband, Rennie, Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren, Robert Richardson, his wife Jana, and Kerry Glover, her husband Chris; three great-grandchildren, Elliott, Emmett, and Kyle. The family would like to thank Candice, and all her staff at Winterberry Heights, Bangor for their loving care.

 

A graveside service will be conducted 10AM Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the family lot in Sebec Corner Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
