Obituary of Clayton E. Burton Sr.

 

 

Blanchard Twp. – Clayton E. Burton Sr., 66, passed away suddenly May 23, 2019, on the shores of the East Branch of the Piscataquis River in Shirley. He was born May 14, 1953, in Monson, the son of Floyd W. Sr. and Hattie C. (Easler) Burton.  Clayton was a regular sportsman and had a love for the outdoors; he had a passion for fishing, and enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, and kayaking. He enjoyed landscaping and was wonderful at it.

 

Clayton is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Dehbra (Tucker) Burton, who will remember Clayton as the light of her life and best friend; two children, Clayton Jr. and Tammy; two sisters, Marion Abenathy and her husband, Lee, and Marylee Giordano; four brothers, Floyd Burton Jr. and his significant other, Ramona Smith, Roger Burton and his wife, Sandra, Elwin Burton and his wife, Laura, and George Burton; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed by many special friends.
