Obituary of Joyce J. Wessel

Milo – Joyce J. Wessel, 78, passed away peacefully May 11, 2019, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born May 13, 1940, in Ellicot City, Maryland, the daughter of Edwin and Minnie (Laumann) Justice. Joyce married George Edward Wessel and worked as a recreational therapist until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Wessel and his wife, Linda; two grandchildren, Edward and A.J. Wessel; two sisters, Evelyn Justice and Joann Bonsall; and many good friends, including Louis Ritter. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, brother, and her parents.

Joyce will be laid to rest with her husband in the Poplar Springs Methodist Cemetery in Lisbon, Maryland. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
